Sanctuary

This bench hopes to bring comfort to anyone around who needs a rest in their day from standing or from feeling like they are not in the right place at the moment.

Sit for a bit to consider- have I ever needed sanctuary? From whom in these days might we need sanctuary, and who might need it? How might I offer it if I am able?

Made in early 2025 from Ash in a simple sliding dovetail construction, this bench is 10 feet long and 17 inches wide and weighs in at about 400 lbs. It has been made to offer a needed seat to others for a long time.
